Are you in a mood for something indulgent? We have got a triple chocolate granola ready for you. Filled with lots of nuts & seeds, but most importantly 3 different types of chocolate: raw chocolate nibs and Belgian milk and pure chocolate shavings and buttons.
I guess that technically makes it a quintuple chocolate granola!

Italian recipe
We made countless amounts of batches in order to find the perfect combination of taste and nutritional value. Our kitchen has smelled of cinnamon for months, and the amounts of granola tested and consumed were real.

Nonetheless, it was all worth it, because after we found the recipe for our coconut granola we thought we also needed a super indulgent version.

We don’t believe in doing something half, a granola with just a bit of chocolate in it wasn’t going to cut it for us. If we eat a granola with chocolate, we want to taste the chocolate!
With every bite of this granola you will taste the chocolate, the rich deep flavors melting on your tongue.
We only use the best quality Belgian chocolate, so feel free to leave out the yoghurt or the fact of eating it in the morning. It is an excellent little snack on its own indeed.

Triple chocolate granola
This is the recipe for our triple chocolate granola:

–       At least 1/3 of nuts & seeds:
2 different types of nuts: walnuts, almonds
3 different types of seeds: pumpkin seeds, sunflowers & flaxseed

–       Roughly 1/3 of rolled oats

–       a splash of date syrup & a sprinkle of true Ceylon cinnamon and a little bit of salt.

–       To make sure everything is mixed together perfectly and baked to perfection, we add a bit of natural sunflower oil.

      After it comes out of the oven, we add the good stuff! A perfect mixture of raw cacao nibs (for some extra crunchiness) and some of the highest quality Belgian chocolate shavings and chunks, both milk and dark. 

Don’t worry about it being too indulgent, we made sure that the overall amount of sugar per portion is very low, only 5g. Which accounts for roughly 5% of the recommended overall intake of sugar per day.

So that means you can enjoy your triple chocolate granola without any worries.

Just make sure you put your alarm clock 5 minutes later in the morning.
Get a pretty bowl, poor some yoghurt or milk and then add a nice handful of su.sana chocolate granola, and if you like some fruit. Sit down, breath and enjoy.
Just take a few minutes to enjoy your super breakfast, enjoy the taste and get ready mentally and physically for the day ahead.

Our granola is not produced in a big factory where it’s rushed through the system.
Every single bag is oven baked and hand packed by a family member, because su.sana superfood is a real family business.

Because after all, our core believe at su.sana superfood is that we want to produce food that is as nutritious and tasty as a home cooked Italian meal.

Allergies

We are producing our granola without any wheat or grains, we only use rolled oats. Although rolled oats are by nature without gluten, there is a possibility of cross contamination.
Our chocolate granola is not vegan.
